Hanna-Maria Strand is a versatile singer with a variety of styles including lieder, opera, contemporary music, operetta and songs.

She frequently appeares as a soloist in various events and has been a soloist in works by, among others, J. S. Bach, Handel, Pergolesi, de Falla, Langlais, Mahler, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Franke, C J Walter, Vivaldi, Heggie, J-M Sjöberg, Schnittke & T Åberg.

During the last year Hanna-Maria starred in three Original Performances:

Requiem by Johan-Magnus Sjöberg, lyrics Sigbritt Ernald

By the sea at night for mezzo-soprano and strings, and DEATH, also for mezzo and strings; both by Thomas Åberg, lyrics John Gracen Brown .

In 2010 Hanna-Maria performed as Carmela in La Vida Breve by Manuel de Falla, with Maestro Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos and the Danish National Symphony Orcherstra.

She has appeared in numerous productions at the Danish Radio, both as a member of the ensemble and as a soloist.
